With 2011 coming to a close, there’s a lot we have planned for our readers in the future. We also have a lot planned for ourselves, too. We thought it’d be neat to give everyone a heads-up of things to come and things we want to come. Take a look at Geek's Goals, our New Year’s Resolutions.
We’ve had an interesting year so far and it hasn’t even been a year. Hard to believe, isn’t it? We started Geek Preview as a small blog in the beginning of June; June 8th, to be exact. Our first post was the Wii U Preview which still continues to get some pretty good traffic and we’re still as excited about its release as you are.
In six small months, five if you don’t count the month we didn’t get any posts through because of school, we’ve accumulated all of you amazing readers! We’ve partnered with a number of companies in order to bring you the reviews, articles, and straight-up entertainment information you want, need, and deserve. We’re almost at 400 Facebook fans and we’re at 120 Twitter followers as the year comes to a close. Not too shabby, eh?
We have lots planned next year, including:
- New, bigger giveaways
- An actual website
- More partnerships with companies
- Business cards and flyers
- Newsletters
- Even more timely, relevant, interesting articles
- Better incentives to donate (T-shirts, hoodies, etc.)
- ...much, much more!
We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you! Thank you to all of our readers and we hope you’ve had and will continue to have as much fun as we are doing this for you! As always, if you’ve liked everything so far, we can certainly put the donations to good use and it will help our goals come even faster than ever. We’ll even through in a good word or 200 about you if you want! ;)

- Klout Score of 50+
