Please Stop the (Christmas) Music!

I'm a normal human being, right?  I thought so, up until recently.  In case you couldn't tell, I'm pretty into every single piece of entertainment and art out there.  Movies, television, video games, books... you name it and I respect (most of) it!  Music is one of those outstanding art forms that just carries us on through good times and bad times and is one of my all-time favorite art forms.  Except for Christmas music, that is.

J. Edgar Movie Review: Top Secret is Worth Sharing

Clint Eastwood is known for his amazing works of art:  writing, acting, directing, and even whistling.  With such classic films such as Mystic River, Dirty Harry, and Gran Torino under his belt, it's truly wonderful to see him continue his beautiful storytelling. J. Edgar is another one of his beautiful stories.

Sonic Generations Review: Stick With Your Memories

The "Blue Blur" has always been a favorite character of mine.  Ever since the days of the Sega Genesis, Sonic the Hedgehog has captured all of our hearts and attention. Since Sonic has evolved from a two-dimensional sprite to a three-dimensional, high definition blue ball of speed, there seems to be no limit to what he can do.  That is, until now.

The Black Eyed Peas Experience Got That Boom Boom Pow!

We've all played dancing games before: Dance Central, Just Dance, and let's not forget Dance Dance Revolution!  Then sometimes a dancing game comes along and just turns it into something totally different.  This "game" is more of an actual "experience," however.  The name of that game is The Black Eyed Peas Experience (BEP.)  With all the other dance games out there, are those chickens jackin' their style?

Aldorlea Games Has the "Laxius" Force

We all have video games that stick with us from our childhood and throughout our life.  For me, it's always been about the role-playing games.  While most RPGs focus solely on "go from point A to point B, fight monster C,"  they still have great stories that make you feel as if you're playing a book.  Hours upon hours of gameplay can be spent and you'll still have more story to uncover.  While some RPGs today don't have those intertwining stories that can be seen all the way back from the NES, one storyline has a massive one:  Laxius Force.  Just how massively awesome is it, though?

Insterstellar Defence Troops is One Stellar Game!

Have you ever played a tower defense game and wished it was more in space?  Well, there's a game out there (and we mean out there) that allows you to control a Command Center and a fleet of different bodies to collect minerals and resources.  You can grow as a "space team" and become the best fleet in the universe (literally!)  But how does the game do in the universe of strategy games?

Beavis and Butthead: Episode 5 Mini-Review with Extras!

Here it is:  our weekly ritual.  Beavis and Butthead every Thursday at 10/9c.  We usually can catch it with all the work going on and it's a sad night when we don't.  The last episode was a huge success, and their latest double episode has some... extra qualities.

The Future of Apple Without Jobs

We remember October 5, 2011, just barely a month ago, when Steve Jobs, Apple Co-Founder and innovative revolutionary passed away.  The man who was kicked out of the company he started, brought a new company up from the rubble, and then came back to save the company he was kicked from in the first place.

Now that a month has passed and the iPhone 4S has been released, and gotten great reviews all around, we wonder:  what will the future of Apple look like without Jobs?

Beavis and Butthead: Episode 4 Mini-Review

After the slight misstep that was episode 3, we were hoping that B&B would really pack the punches in the newest episode, Holy Cornholio.  Did they kick it up a notch or is this episode another downward fall for Beavis and Butthead?

Beavis and Butthead: Episode 3 Mini-Review

Another week, another episode of our destructively dumb duo in their newest episode, Drones.  How does the third episode of the new Beavis and Butthead compare to the last two?

How Fast is Too Fast?

We live in a fast-paced world.  We’re all extremely busy and we have a ton of work to do and we need to do it two ways: fast and on-the-go.  With the newly released quad-core smartphones, the question is now becoming: Do we need everything to go this fast?

Mountain Dew Game Fuel: Tropical Review

With the release of any new game or movie comes promotional items, and boy do they come in waves.  With video games, though, most of these promotions are through food and drink.  Now, with the GINORMOUS release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Mountain Dew has released their newest edition of Game Fuel, their gamer-oriented drink of choice.

We’ve seen Mountain Dew’s Game Fuel before when it was World of Warcraft-inspired and once when it was Halo inspired.  With the success of Game Fuel then, it’s no surprise that it’s back and ready to “Search and Destroy” all other gamer drinks out there.  But does the newest drink flavor Capture the Flag?

Top 5 Craziest Conspiracies!

Everyone loves a good story now and again.  Conspiracies and their conspiracy theorists are always pushing the envelope of what is going on under the nose of the general public.  They create some of the craziest stories and then try to tell us it's true.  We've heard our fair share of them and now we've got the top five!  Bet you can't find anything crazier!

Why Special Effects Help Bring Our Imaginations to Life

Tons of movies are released weekly.  Short films come out on an almost-daily basis from all around the world, and multiple feature films come out on a weekly basis.  Don’t forget about the straight-to-DVD and “Made for TV” movies that come out, too.  A majority of these movies are high budget and that means tons of eye candy! But are computer-generated effects the new “live-action?"

The Red Solstice is Definitely A Game-Changer

Screw P. Diddy, we want to wake up in the morning feeling like this guy!

Remember earlier when we talked about the Future of Gaming?  Well, here's what's shaping up to be the first step giant leap for game-kind.  We give our thoughts on the upcoming game and even sit down for a chat with Ironward Games' Hrvoje Horvatek.  He's got some great things to say about what's shaping up to be one of the greatest team games.

The Future of Gaming

Gaming has come a long way.  Some of you may remember, or have played, the original Pong.  A classic and a revolution, Pong started what we all call "video gaming" now.  Video games have come a long way since then, and what we see now almost seemed impossible then.  It almost makes you think:  what will the future of gaming be like?

Vuzix Gives Us A Virtual Reality Check!

Entertainment has been evolving sevenfold as of the last 5 years.  HDTV then turned into 3DTV, which is sure to change in the next couple of years.  How will it change, though?  Putting you into the movie, show, or game.  This is possible with the next level of entertainment, Virtual Eyewear.

Holodesk is Hella Awesome!

Microsoft recently announced their newest invention and technological innovation, the Holodesk.  Using the kinect camera and a see-through display, the Holodesk allows you to interact with 3D objects.  Pretty soon we'll be living Star Wars, guys!

The Great Little War Game You Should All Be Playing

Have you ever sat there and whittled away hours upon hours playing a game?  We've done that numerous times on phones, tablets, consoles -- you name it.  There's tons of games out there: puzzle, action, RPG, FPS, but the one we always try (and usually fail at) are those strategy games.  In turn, this usually has us backing out at the thought of it.  That all changed with this Great Little War Game.

Beavis and Butthead: Episode 2 Review

So, many of us saw, and loved, Beavis and Butthead's premiere.  However, there are times when the first episode is better than the rest of the season.  Was this the case for Beavis and Butthead?

Watch the ParaNorman Trailer!

ParaNorman, from Laika, the creators of the hit movie Coraline, is scheduled to be released in August 2012.  Featuring the same atmosphere that we saw in Coraline, ParaNorman has a lot to bring to top it off, and it seems the movie will do just that.

The Adventures of Puppyman and His Owner, Cameron

As a kid, I used to play games all of the time.  They were, and still are, a vital part of who I am.  Not only did I play them to pass the time, but I also played them to learn and help enforce some hand-eye coordination.  A game I used to play a lot was called Sesame Street Counting Cafe.  It was great for teaching counting and numbers.  Those times have come and gone, and now there's family friendly, casual apps to take its place, such as the Adventures of Puppyman.

Rusty Axe's Skills Aren't Too Rusty

Have you ever played a game and realized just how fun it is? We've recently been taken back to our roots with Dungeon Brawl and Dungeon Demon, two games made by Rusty Axe Games.  Not only did we nostalgia, but we even got to see an awesome program that lets you create the game.  How bad ass is that, right?

Which Technology Will Be Next to Die?

Hear ye, hear ye! All ye geeks!  I have come to report the certain death of one of our most important pieces of technology, but which will it be?  Take a look inside and you shall see!

Is It the Casual Gamer's Time to Shine?

It all started out with board games.  Board games have their fair share of casual players and hardcore players.  Anyone can see this when it comes to chess and checkers, but did you know Monopoly actually has championship tournaments?

Since then, video games are well on their way to becoming the most popular form of entertainment.  As with board games, gamers can also be casual players or hardcore players. With the rise in smart phones, tablets, and the lack of time causing the rise of casual gaming?

20 Movie Quotes We're Tired of Hearing!

This has happened to and been done by everyone reading this (and those who aren't.)  You're having a conversation with someone and they spurt out a movie phrase.  It might fit the situation, but it gets really annoying after hearing it over and over and over again.  We taken 20 of the most overused quotes and put them into one list.  This could either be a good or bad thing; we haven't decided yet.

Is Smart Energy as Smart as It Claims to Be?

Our final energy review for #ERoundup is Smart Energy.  While we started out with regular energy shots and drinks, the products have slowly evolved and our final product can actually be used as a mixer, and not just for alcohol either!
