Everyone's seen the trailers and posters for what's leading up to be one of Summer's hottest rom-coms. However, Crazy Stupid Love far surpasses what many would expect in a romantic comedy and makes it an extremely lovable, funny movie for everyone.
Some of the movie is just ridiculously crazy! Ryan Gosling gives Steve Carrell a run for his money delivering punchlines (and smackdowns) throughout the entire film. There's drama at every turn, and the twists continue to surprise as the story unfolds! Not to mention a huge fight scene and a couple of crazier scenes you should really see for yourself! ;)
Don't be fooled by just the comedy, this movie really understands that love can be stupid! So many dumb things are done by our lovable characters that we can't help but just want to be there for them. This includes, but isn't limited to, a certain scene involving lawn maintenance and a button that says push. Love makes you do some stupid things, and the writer clearly understands that.
Overall, this is a story about love. Pure and complex, this movie will make you feel as good as you've ever felt. Crazy Stupid Love is a culmination of everything romance, and is sure to be a standard for any moviegoer out there. It really sets the bar for romance movies, and will be a classic.
