ParaNorman, from Laika, the creators of the hit movie Coraline, is scheduled to be released in August 2012. Featuring the same atmosphere that we saw in Coraline, ParaNorman has a lot to bring to top it off, and it seems the movie will do just that.
As you will see in the trailer below, the movie has the same feel as Coraline and a touch of the cult classic that everyone loves, Nightmare Before Christmas.
ParaNorman is a story about a young boy named Norman (who would have guessed?) who has a special gift --- he can speak with the dead. He then uses his gift to save his hometown from zombies, ghosts, and demons. Sounds like a frighteningly good time, right? It gets better.
The cast is made up of many really great actors and actresses: John Goodman, Leslie Mann, and Casey Affleck just to name a few. So far, it's shaping up to be one amazing movie. Laika sets out to do it again!
